Job Details:
SUMMARY: The position is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process from order to cash. Specific responsibilities include review of weekly invoice processing for validity error and adjustments; post cash receipts entries; research customer accounts for credits non-payments and resolve any issues related to outstanding item on customer accounts. This position works closely with other business units and accounting team members to manage customer rebate programs and credit limits. Other duties include processing payroll assisting audits account reconciliations and other needs as they arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: College degree or equivalent experience with 2 plus years of progressive experience in field of expertise.
Accountability Role: Responsible for supervising a team of mostly non-exempt TMs; includes mentoring exempt TMs providing training to non-exempt TMs monitoring work quality coaching TMs on performance and contributing to TM pay decisions changes; responsible for the quality of results produced by the team.
Travel: Minimal.
Computer Skills: Excellent Excel skills are required. A good background in Access is also preferred. This position requires a great deal of skill in working with Excel spreadsheets and data within several computer applications. SAP Experience preferred. Should have a good working knowledge of transactional accounting integration of multiple operating systems with financial systems and GAAP. Strong knowledge of cost accounting process improvement monthly closing processes preparation and documentation of journal entries account reconciliations and financial reporting is required.
Biosecurity: When visiting jobsites biosecure environments showering before entering the facilities is required. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsites except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species chickens ducks birds . The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to stand walk sit use hands to touch handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms balance stoop talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
