 POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for architecting, designing and setting the standards for reporting and budgeting analytical systems in Oracle Essbase and Dodeca. Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data. Primary Dodeca code designer for financial reporting systems' databases and process flows. Lead a team of Essbase and Dodeca developers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Lead the requirements identification, data sourcing and data consumption method for Corporate Accounting, Consolidations and other financial reporting stakeholders throughout the enterprise *Advise stakeholders on dynamic ad-hoc requests for data to make timely business decisions *Develop programming specifications for architecting and designing reporting within our financial reporting systems using best practices and application service functions *Serve as a business project management lead for related development and testing activities working with related Essbase and Dodeca developers *Establish priorities for enhancements/modifications for our financial reporting systems *Develop mastery skills over time on where and how to extract the right data at the right time (Oracle FRS/ SmartView/ Dodeca/ PowerBI/ Azure focus, etc.) *Coordinate cross-department (e.g., KTD) initiatives and facilitates the definition of clear responsibilities and business outcomes *Support and/or lead project work (e.g., modernization, business restructuring and acquisitions) *Apply data analysis, data modeling and quality assurance techniques to ensure data integrity in the cubes and reporting *Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data *Mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes and practices *Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports *Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience *2+ years of experience in a public company, an accounting center or public accounting firm or equivalent experience *4+ years of project management, financial reporting and/or reporting technologies *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills *Advanced knowledge of Excel *Excellent time management skills; ability to maintain performance under pressure *Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments *Strong decision-making skills *Strong written and oral communication skills

DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION *4+ years of management experience *Any experience as an Essbase developer with knowledge of calc scripts, load rules and dimension builds *Any experience with AIX or UNIX scripting *Any experience with SQL or DB2 developer *Any experience leading technology enabled and business driven reporting strategies *Any experience in accounting or audit *Any hands on experience in MDX and MAXL *Any retail and manufacturing experience *Any Oracle product suite experience *Proficiency in Essbase and Dodeca technology, architecture and performance tuning *Broad knowledge of visualization, reporting and data management technologies *Deep understanding of ASO/BSO concepts *Ability to develop and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders *Strong understanding of relational and/or OLAP databases *Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and/or Business Objects
