The Senior Director, US Multiple Myeloma Finance will partner with Vice President Multiple Myeloma US (and leadership team) to drive short & long term business results. The incumbent will be located in Summit, New Jersey and will mange and provide finance leadership to the US Multiple Myeloma Leadership Team. Leads a team of 3-5 finance professionals with financial oversight for budgeted revenue of $10.6/$11.7 Billion (20-21) and associated pre-tax profit.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The finance lead will be responsible for supporting all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the US Multiple Myeloma business. Partnering closely with the Vice President US Multiple Myeloma. This position will provide key support for strategic and economic decisions while leading the day-to-day finance activities as follows:

•Be an active member of the US Hematology Finance leadership team

•Development of MM financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives - Directing all financial activities including annual budgets and semi-annual projections

•Acting as a valued member of the US MM Leadership Team

•Support the Financial Planning and Management Reporting Processes - Monitoring business performance, challenging results and developing recommendations to improve financial performance

•Responsibility for presenting and reporting a consolidated view of the performance of the US Multiple Myeloma business

•Work closely with marketing, BI&A forecasting, and customer insights in the development of sales forecasts and ensure alignment with manufacturing demand planning

•Participate in the oversight of gross-to-net accruals for the brand (actuals and forecasts), in association with VAP and Accounting to ensure gross-to-net activity is properly reflected

•Partnering with brand management and BI&A to ensure appropriate resource allocation decisions are made

•Ability to work in a fast pace environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds

•Build strong Finance organization attracting and retaining key talents and being a role model – Lead, engage, and develop a team of 3-5 finance professionals

•Maintain sound internal controls environment and ensure compliance with local laws and Company’s policies

•Ensuring relevant accounting procedures and controls are in place and operating as well all requirements for US GAAP are fulfilled

Requirements:

•10 years progressive experience in Finance leadership

•Relevant U.S. or other market experience in Pharma supporting multiple functions/Bus

•Strong working knowledge of financial systems including SAP/Oracle and Hyperion preferred

•Successful track record developing talent

•Ability to work constructively across a complex matrix structure with multiple partners

•Highest level of integrity, work ethic and financial stewardship

•Experience in brand financial planning and analysis and sales forecasting is a plus

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or a related field

•CPA, Chartered Accountant and/or an MBA is a plus
