Responsibilities

As the Accounts Receivable Assistant, you'll perform various accounts receivable clerical processes and procedures.

Review insurance explanation of benefit reports for accuracy.

Route debit balance accounts to collectors.

Route credit balance accounts for refund processing.

Identify, report and resolve payment discrepancies.

Enter adjustments in a timely manner.

Reconcile deposits with payments entered into the financial system to ensure accurate account data.

Process payments according to third party payer rules and regulations using both manual and automated programs.

Strong knowledge of Office Products and Google Docs.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

Additional Preferences:

Associate Degree, preferred.

2 to 5 years of accounts receivable experience, preferred.

2 to 5 years of premimum invoices, posting cash and reconciling cash experience, preferred.

Facet experience, preferred.
