Description
The Account Reconciliation Manager will be providing professional accounting work with Humana's Reconciliation team involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. In this role, we're seeking an energetic team player with a strong technical accounting and finance background as well as experience providing decision support and management of a Reconciliation team on a daily and monthly basis.
Responsibilities
The Account Reconciliation Manager will establish clear objectives to the team to ensure timely completion of required tasks, assist with monthly and yearly closings, preparation of bank and/or customer account reconciliation, and Administrative Services Only (ASO) customer reporting/support.
As the Account Reconciliation Manager, you are confident with working closely with a cross functional team and consistently look at processes and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining. This role will provide decision support related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the ASO Reconciliation department.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, Business or Finance preferred
6 or more years of Finance experience
2 or more years of management experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to communication effectively across all levels of management and external clients/customers
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Certified Public Accountant license
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Access
Experience with SQL
Ability to work with large amounts of data (i.e. Macros, Pivot Tables, Tableau)
Excellent analytical skills; Financial modeling experience
Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel a plus
