An opportunity has arisen for a qualified accounting technician to join the Financial Accounting team, to provide maternity cover for up to one year. You will be AAT qualified (or have relevant demonstrable experience). You should have experience in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheet account reconciliations and liaising with auditors. You may also be asked to support the tax team with preparation of VAT and corporation tax returns or other tax projects. Experience of managing day-to-day cash flow requirements is desirable. You will be self-motivated and able to work both independently or as part of a team and have the ability to prioritise and self-manage. You will have an advanced knowledge in Microsoft applications with a particular focus on excel and experience of using finance systems in large and complex organisations is desirable. Excel skills will be tested during the interview process.
