As AR/AP Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery and day-to-day execution for both the accounts receivable and payables processes for our digital eCommerce business, Kanopi by Armstrong.

 

Your primary focus will revolve around achieving favorable KPIs in the areas of accounts receivable (credit, collections, claims, and adjustments), payables (payments and processing) turnover, and cash conversion cycle. In addition, you will also be tasked with ensuring a controlled and compliant environment while promoting internal and external customer relations.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

*Overseeing the accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and credit, and collection functions for our digital eCommerce business *Collaborate with the order, sales, customer service, and pricing teams to facilitate the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes *Maintaining open lines of communications with installation sales and customer service colleagues on status of any open and closed orders *Fielding inbound calls and following up with customers and vendors relating to orders, invoices, payments, and cash differences & delinquencies *Creating and maintaining robust audit controls processes for collections and payments *Ensuring collections and payments are performed monthly, quarterly, and annually *Investigating, researching, and resolving cash collections, credit, and payment discrepancies *Managing customer accounts and collections activity and credit approval process *Obtaining AR data, organizing data via Excel, and preparing graphs for reporting *Following up with customers directly on any late payments and collections issues *Maximizing Accounts Receivable turnover through credit management, collections, and process improvements

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

*Finance and accounting experience *Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word *Enthusiasm for seeking continuous process improvement *Strong analytical skills and ability to accurately investigate and resolve differences *Proven ability to manage relationships through negotiations *Strong customer service acumen *Familiarity with SAP

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Bachelor's degree in accounting or related, OR a High School diploma/GED along with equivalent experience *2+ years of accounts receivable experience
