Aon is looking for a Senior Accountant - Benefits Duties and Responsibilities Preparation of monthly journal entriesReview, perform and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basisCollaborate with the business partners to ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP Support and collaborate with HR, benefits, payroll operations, IT, Controllerships, Corporate and Technical Accounting,Preparation of monthly exhibits Assisting with balance sheet and income statement variance analysis as well as interacting with functional areasDrive efficiencies and continuous improvement in the balance sheet reconciliation processPartnering with Payroll/Benefits team to ensure proper mapping/configuration on all payroll/benefits components to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements as well as preparing forecastWorking capital forecasting, including building and managing quantitative modelsWork with external auditors during interim and year-end testingTesting of Sarbanes-Oxley controls Acquisitions and divestitures deal support for payroll and benefits as neededProvide agreed upon post-divestiture transition support servicesOther ad hoc special projects Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong human relation skills with an ability to listen, consider alternative views, and solve complex problems Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilitiesAbility to identify process improvements opportunities Ability to work with different levels of managementAbility to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment Preferred 2 years of experience in accounting Certified Public Accountant and/or MBAKnowledge of Workday, Hyperion and TM1 We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
