Summary :
This position is responsible for calculating and initiating wire transfers to Third Party Administrators for payroll investments and funding disbursements to providers and Team Members; monitoring benefit general ledger balance accounts and TPA systems daily to ensure accuracy of receipts and payables; providing support to benefit counselors regarding insurance premium payments received from Team Members on leave of absence; auditing payments received and preparing deposits to appropriate health plan accounts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinating the collection of and auditing the accuracy of all insurance premium payments received by benefit counselors from Team Members on leave of absence; preparing the analysis of the payments and depositing the funds to the appropriate bank account; providing monthly reports to benefits accounting for bank reconciliation purposes; preparing the wire requests for payroll investments to various third party administrators; providing detail reports regarding the investments to TPAs and verify correct amounts were withheld from paychecks; researching any discrepancies and resolving before investments are submitted; monitoring benefit bank accounts to ensure wires are accurately completed; monitoring and making timely decisions regarding any positive pay activity for the Employee Stock Purchase Plan bank accounts at JP Morgan; processing stop payments as needed; verifying ESPP registers are uploaded to JP Morgan and Tyson reconciliation systems; maintaining records for participants in various life insurance plans including monitoring payments received, calculating the monthly premiums due, determining rate increases, and preparing and providing payment coupons to participants; notifying stock transfer agent to authorize incoming and outgoing DWAC s for all share activity in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education : Requires education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses is preferred.
Experience : 3 plus years of related experience preferred.
Computer Skills : Requires standard computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience or ability to learn Workday and SAP S/4 Hana.
Communication Skills : Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires collaboration with all levels of management. Discretion regarding very confidential and sensitive matters and special attention to detail is required.
Travel : Travel is not required.
