Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the accurate preparation and reporting of all cost and other financial information in the plant, including product costings. This includes gathering and processing information to generate daily and weekly production cost reports, preparing weekly and monthly costs and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet. This position will assist in the preparation of the annual operations and capital budgets and is responsible for ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Tyson s accounting policies. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include:

Create cost sheets from supplied CRFs obtaining production details from Plant Mgt.

After approvals received from SC Finance, build the item in BOM Portal & push to SAP.

Review GSM spec changes in BOM Portal, approving and sending to SAP.

Keep Spec Change log so that comments can be made on Period Cost Comparison file.

Assist Plant Controller with the weekly Plant Score Card reporting and month end close process.

Update and distribute production reports daily.

Strong ability to keep organized as information is reported out by management; Need the ability to meet deadlines without monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor s degree preferred.

Experience: 1 plus year.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including Excel generating spreadsheets and word processing skills writing macros and preparing complex graphic presentations; broad SAP knowledge including purchasing materials management and product costing.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Must work well in a team environment and be highly organized and detail oriented.

Supervisory: NA.
