Aon Is Looking For An Experienced Forensic Accounting Risk ConsultantAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon Property & Risk Consulting business group within Aon Risk Solutions. You will report directly to the Regional Director of Claims Preparation, Advocacy and Valuation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAs respects property damage, business interruption and other first party claimsReview, audit and analyze accounting books and records, financial statements, or other financial reports – P&L’s, budgets, inventory, revenues, value of production, invoices, bank records, expensesData entry and statistical analysisProcess information – compile, categorize, calculate, audit, verify information and data. Double check for accuracyOversee and manage one or two consultants which includes monitoring their workloads, providing technical and professional coaching and support, conducting performance reviews and annual merit/bonus discussionsCommunicate to team members on workload, status of projectsTime and expense tracking – On a regular basis, track time and expense for client billing and internal usage. Monitor time of direct reportsDevelop a following with producers, account executives and property brokers that lead to development of a book of business that establishes you as a go-to person in this area.Interact with office leadership, make presentations on team capabilities and success stories.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS8-10 years of relevant experienceMathematics and Accounting Principles – Using mathematics and advanced accounting principles to solve problemsAbility to be proactive and to prioritize multiple projects and tasksInterpersonal & teamwork– Working cooperatively with others – peers, supervisors, direct-reports, clients, adjusters, auditors and building relationships to mutually achieve the goalsTechnical Insurance Knowledge – have strong knowledge of basic principles of insurance, the roles of the players and how property insurance coverage appliesDeductive Reasoning – the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make senseMathematical Reasoning – the ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problemOral Expression – the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understandWritten Expression – the ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understandDelegation – be able to juggle client demands with management responsibilities and delegate tasks to others.Strong computer skills in MSOffice with ability to do MacrosTravel – job requires domestic and potentially international travelMINIMUM EDUCATION- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
