Job Purpose

Radisys is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will be a critical member of our team leading technical accounting and compliance for the organization. You will be responsible for several essential functions including revenue recognition, internal control, processes, policy, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a driven problem solver, able to communicate technical accounting in an understandable way, while being able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities

Review of technical accounting guidance and how Radisys implements this guidance

Evaluate the accounting consequences of key transactions, including revenue arrangements. Work with stakeholders and provide suggestions on how best to structure agreements

Work with accounting staff on ensuring revenue and other technical areas are properly accounted for on a monthly basis

Create and maintain technical accounting manual for key accounting areas

Organize and document key risks, policies, processes, and internal controls. Make recommendations to team on improvements

Periodically test processes and controls for compliance

Partner with parent company compliance team, internal auditors, and external auditors reviewing risks, policies, processes, and controls

Work closely with the Company’s auditors and other service providers regarding technical accounting matters

Partner with external advisors on laws and regulations across the company’s subsidiaries to ensure proper compliance

Track and report on Company compliance across all subsidiaries

Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards

Follow emerging accounting issues and proactively analyze their impact on the Company’s financial statements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field

Active CPA license

4 years related public accounting experience required, including proven managerial experience

IFRS experience a plus

Experience with software revenue recognition and review of contracts

Strong leadership skills

Ability to continually reassess and identify process improvements, flexible mindset

Strong communication skills

Ability to write technical accounting memos

Demonstrates attention to detail and excellent organization skills

Proficient with MS Office tools

Ability to work in a diverse team environment
