SUMMARY: This Corporate Accounting position in the Property Accounting area is responsible for fixed asset related financial and tax reporting and maintaining the asset sub-ledger. This includes performing book to tax reconciliations, PP&E roll-forward schedules and preparing tax reports for the annual return. Other responsibilities include: assisting Corporate Tax with information requests; preparing balance sheet reconciliations; leading quarterly meetings to satisfy SOX controls; maintaining tax depreciation and gain/loss schedules; other reporting needs or unresolved issues within Property Accounting.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred).
Experience: 3 years of related experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Communication Skills: Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Supervisory Responsibility: none
Travel: 1 to 5 domestic trips per year
Special Skills: Certified Public Accountant, eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not required.
