The Finance Manager, Cell Therapy FP&A will support the Cell Therapy Finance team to understand financial performance and provide necessary reporting and metrics. The resource will be located in Summit, New Jersey and will provide financial planning and analysis support to the Cell Therapy Team.

Responsibilities include:

The Manager will provide support to planning and analysis of the Cell Therapy Franchise. Partner closely with Finance colleagues supporting Cell Therapy Commercialization, R&D and Cell Therapy Development & Operations. This position will provide financial support for making strategic cell therapy investment decisions, while also supporting day-to-day finance activities listed below:

Be an active member of the Cell Therapy Finance Franchise team

Consolidate and report Cell Therapy Franchise P&L budget and projections across Commercialization, R&D, Medical and Cell Therapy Development & Operations

Analyze financial performance (variance vs. budget and projections) necessary to provide insights to Cell Therapy Leadership Team

Track key metrics to enable proactive monitoring and early warning of financial performance

Support remediation of financial performance related issues

Provide financial support to Cell Therapy partnership (i.e. Bluebird)

Ability to work in a fast pace environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds

Requirements:

3-5 years experience in Finance

Relevant U.S. or other market experience in Pharma supporting multiple functions/BUs

Strong working knowledge of financial systems including SAP/Oracle and Hyperion strongly preferred

Successful track record of performance

Ability to work constructively across a complex matrix structure with multiple partners

Experience product specific financial planning and analysis and sales forecasting is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or a related field

CPA, Chartered Accountant and/or an MBA is a differentiator
