Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP seeks a Advisory Manager in San Jose, CA.
Work You’ll Do
Offer advice to clients on financial, economic and strategic “lifecycle” events and transactions through four main service areas: Corporate Finance Services, Forensic & Dispute Services, Reorganization Services and Valuation Services; provide services in areas including: forensic and litigation consulting, corporate investigations, technology risk assessments, electronic data recovery/evidence management, transaction advisory services for acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalization, business valuations, and restructuring; help companies identify, measure, and articulate the value of their assets by providing independent and well-supported valuations; help clients to properly quantify and articulate values for financial reporting, taxation, transaction, financing, litigation, and strategic management purposes; understand the requirements associated with the development of value conclusions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules that allow companies to understand the value of an entity, asset, or liability to support informed business and investment decisions; manage the day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects; oversee the quality of client deliverables; mentor and develop staff and senior associates; develop client network; and support efforts to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies. Will commute within the San Jose, CA area to consult with clients concerning the above duties.

Requirements
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Five years of experience performing business valuations in the Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) industry.
In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Master's degree and three years of experience as stated above.
Experience must include two years of:
Performing valuations of Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM) designations as detailed under Article 12 of the MiFID Level 2 Regulation (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive Regulations);
Estimating value indications of lattice, guyed, and stealth wireless tower tranches by developing assumptions related to lease-up potential, tenant churn, and lease rates;
Performing valuations of software that enable clients to match trades in the global fixed income market;
Corroborating the values of business components in the security solution and fire protection sectors; and
Assessing values of international online classifieds companies.
Less than 10% travel outside of normal commuting distance.
