Responsibilities

The Specialist Programs Value-Based Programs Professional 2 understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Provides support for current and future specialist-focused value-based programs through data management, logic design and program maintenance

Assists with numerous ad hoc requests to support the evaluation of our program partners

Assists in production of recurring reports

Provides internal reporting on data and space utilization

Manages assigned internal process management tasks including quality assurance and data validation

Assists internal and external stakeholders (including Corporate and Market leadership) to evaluate and expand value-based programs into new markets and business areas

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

1 years of experience with SAS Enterprise Guide or similar experience with SQL and other relational database management systems

1 years of experience with data interpretation and analysis

2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; (basic and advanced functions within Excel)

Capable communicator with ability to engage with individuals and groups; able to put context around data

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Value-Based Care/Programs

Familiar with Humana's internal datasets (EDW, Service Fund, etc)

Experience working with medical claims data
