The Senior IT Internal Auditor develops, directs, plans and evaluates internal audit programs for the organization's information systems and related procedures to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures and standards. The Senior IT Audit Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior IT Internal Auditor audits information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist and that information produced by the system is accurate. Advises others on information systems, internal controls and security procedures. Executes the audit plan and prepares reports for management on the results of risk audits, providing recommendations on improvements and efficiencies, and/or participates in Sarbanes-Oxley activities. Maintains an effective quality assurance program when executing responsibilities. Makes opportunities to participate in department initiatives.
The Senior IT Internal Auditor understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. The senior begins to influence department's strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Work is performed without direction and the senior exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of IT audit or consulting experience
Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects
Likes to focus on the big picture and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Implementation and execution skills; problem solving skills
Aptitude for establishing working relationships with associates within the department and the business
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP
Advanced degree preferred
Six Sigma Black Belt, Process Improvement and/or Quality Control expertise

Preferred location is Humana's Louisville headquarters, but open to WAH
