Aon US Reinsurance Controllership team is expanding! This new Senior Accountant role will assist the team by ensuring the ledgers are closed properly and efficiently, contracts have been recorded in accordance with revenue recognition policy and internal controls are operating effectively. Your success will progress Controllership goals towards advancements in digital finance innovation and overall process improvements that enables clear financial reporting to stakeholders.  What your role will look like...Month End Close ProcessPerforms month end close tasks, including timely creation of general ledger journal entries with proper supporting documentation. Prepares monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations timelyPrepare and review journal entry transactionsTechnical & Analytical Skills Review of contracts to ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with revenue recognition policyMonthly analysis over balance sheetSOX test of control design and test of control effectiveness for identified key controlsAssists with reporting and forecasting on working capital metrics and drives improvement of free cash flowProfessional SkillsCommunicates and follows up with business units on outstanding issues Assists with managing Offshore Teams and other Finance centers Drives efficiencies and process improvements via daily tasks and ad hoc projects to fine tune project management skillsProactively works with External and Internal Audit to resolve any audit queriesWhat you can expect from us… At Aon, we ask a lot of our employees, which is why we give so much in return.
