Description
Humana is seeking a Senior Strategy Advancement Professional to join the Enterprise Partner Strategy team working remote in the US. The right person will: optimize business relationships with major outsourced suppliers to maximize value to Humana and its customers; bring outsourcing expertise in support of multi-functional efforts to identify segment or Enterprise-wide service outsourcing and supplier opportunities; provide recommendations to business leadership as a subject matter expert in supplier sourcing and management; and support performance optimization of supplier relationships within the Enterprise service organizations.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Work with Humana business and shared service leaders to optimize value to Humana and its members through continued development, expansion, and execution of the Enterprise Partner Strategy framework
Execute on strategy and business process outsourcing (BPO) planning, deployment, and management lifecycle for Enterprise level delivery across multiple lines of business and global suppliers
Support internal process improvement which allows for more efficient outsourcing of services
Audit, analyze and report value-based metrics related to delivery of outsourced services
Enable and support Humana business through development of tools and delivery frameworks
Define and execute supplier strategies that may include auditing, relationship management, optimization of contracted metrics (SLAs, KPIs, etc.), and development of strategic partnerships across multiple suppliers
Creatively inform and drive requirements and service levels that create business value
Conduct contract-, invoice- and service-based audits of supplier relationships and sites
Interpret contract or other legal document language, as needed
Provide guidance to business areas regarding contract- and sourcing-related activities
Influence strategic decisions which accelerate Humana's strategy on behalf of Humana and suppliers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 years of combined experience in outsourcing strategy and advisory, contract development, supplier negotiations, and supplier management across a variety of industry verticals
Experience working with outsourcing strategy
Supplier relationship management experience
Ability to work with minimal oversight and recommend decisions for the team
Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks
Strong analytical skills paired with creative problem-solving
Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Work at Home/Remote Requirements
Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in related field
Financial analysis and accounting experience
PMP certification
6-Sigma and/or Lean Certification
Experience in contract/legal negotiation
Procurement/supply chain buy-side contracting experience
