Description
The Senior Incentive Compensation Professional oversees the ongoing administration of calculating and paying sales commissions. The Senior Incentive Compensation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Incentive Compensation Professional will be responsible for the following:
Administration of sales and targeted incentive plans
Must understand the business operation models for all lines of business
Become the SME of the incentive plans (i.e., 150 comp plans for nearly 6k associates)
Have the ability to review and understand compensation data
Strong communication skills - must be able to communicate and tailor messages based on the audience (i.e., Sales Operations, Sales Leaders, Sales Associates, IT, Data Owners, etc.. )
Perform user acceptance testing on incentive applications
Triage 2 Support for all Compensation inquires
Quick learner - ability to learn the core compensation processes and answer questions from associates
Data Analysis
Must have the ability to analyze data, identify trends and inputs and determine appropriate solution/conclusion
Supports identification and prioritization of additional data needs beyond what are currently available, creates requests for data expansion within automated data sources, and helps develop reporting/data requirements to drive timely and accurate incentive compensation dispute resolutions
Presentation Preparation
Assist with creating VP presentations (i.e., how are plans preforming, what were the outcomes of pay planning, etc..)
Enterprise auditing
Conduct audits for all core compensation process (incentive and non-incentive activities)
Identify outliers, root cause and solutions
Process Improvement
A key responsibility of this position is to identify any improvement opportunities in this area and contribute to the design and implementation of new or enhanced processes or procedures as a result of identifying improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or equivalent experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant analytical field
Proven process improvement experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Access
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Proficient in Excel and Access to conduct data analysis
SOX experience
Extremely organized with excellent time management
