Position Summary

Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a progressive Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus is on developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Manager, FP&A – Sports Marketing will be a key member of our team by supporting our broader sports marketing organization across all regions by providing visibility to results, trends, and KPI’s in addition to owning and helping to shape strategic decisions with cross-functional partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Support SVP of Sports Marketing in driving the financial plan across a variety of cross-functional disciplines

Create and maintain short and long-term financial models to assist in weekly/monthly/quarterly financial updates to the company, providing decision support and strategic analysis

Forecast and manage costs for a variety of areas across the sports marketing business including key sports categories, collegiate and athlete contracts, and global assets

Lead consolidation efforts for key financial deliverables including: forecasting, Board of Directors, ELT Share-outs, sports marketing committee meetings, quarterly business reviews, and ad hoc projects

Provide financial support in optimizing sports marketing measurement capabilities

Partner with cross-functional business partners to align financial plans to long-term strategy by coordinating marketing plans across all markets, activation plans, and revenue projections

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required

Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing, and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings concisely

Critical thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal, skills

Self-starter; ability to be productive with limited oversight

Ability to lead projects with cross-functional teammates at all levels

Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects with high levels of complexity

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, analyze results, and make actionable recommendations

Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to challenging the status-quo to make things better

Ability to work independently and identify information and/or resources needed to complete assignments

Ability to lead a team of 1-2 direct reports

Education And / Or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or other business-related field

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A

Experience leading a team of direct reports

Consumer Products, Retail Industry or high growth environment experience preferred

Other Requirements

Location: This position is fully remote

Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, business case creation, scenario and sensitivity analysis

SAP/BPC/IBPf experience preferred
