SUMMARY
Eagle Eye Electric, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC), is currently seeking a qualified BSNC shareholder or BSNC descendant of a shareholder as a Certified Payroll Coordinator to work from our Anchorage office. The Certified Payroll Coordinator reports to the Senior Project Coordinator and functions include preparing, processing and reconciling certified payroll reports from subcontractors in multiple states and in a multi-company environment. Tasks are generally routine and require little deviation from established procedures. The Certified Payroll Coordinator will also be responsible for periodic audits of certified payroll in respect to subcontractor documentation and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Request, collect, receive, review, file, and deliver Certified Payroll reports from subcontractors, vendors, and other required reporting entities.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for full certified payroll process of multi-state and multi-project subcontractors including auditing and processing incoming certified payroll data for full compliance and accuracy.
Responsible for managing the certified payroll process from start to finish for all projects.
Responsible for compiling, coordinating and ensuring all certified payroll reports are filed accurately and timely.
Review and cross reference subcontractor employee sign in sheets for accurate recording.
Perform tasks to establish and maintain certified payroll records
Maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
Other related duties as required and assigned by the Senior Project Coordinator

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
High school diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year certified payroll work experience or equivalent.
Applicants must be a BSNC shareholder or a BSNC descendant of a shareholder
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Working knowledge of how certified payroll reports are prepared
Ability to meet daily & weekly deadlines
Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines
Good organizational and time management skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Dependable and punctual
Must be able to operate office machines, including, but not limited to a computer, copier, fax and 10-key by touch as well as make arithmetic calculations
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
Managing one's own time and coordinating time with others
The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing clearly and concisely
Ability to use computers and/or computer system software to enter data or process information
Preferred
Previous experience processing certified payroll reports in a multi-company/multi-project environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity.
