Responsibilities

The Senior M&A Analyst makes recommendations regarding the impact of possible mergers, acquisitions and divestitures on the organization's profitability. Conducts appropriate due diligence to ensure the reliability and implications of information provided by potential acquisition targets. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Knowledge of general financial and accounting principles

Experience building and evaluating financial models

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

Experience preparing executive-level presentations

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for excellence

Demonstrated ability of working well with others and on teams

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree

CPA and/or public accounting firm experience

Experience at a top consultancy or investment banking firm

The location of this role will be downtown, Louisville, KY, Humana Tower.
