Description

The Market Leadership Advisor manages the development, operations, and results of a health plan. The Market Leadership Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Market Leadership Advisor establishes long-range goals, objectives, and plans; monitors financial and operational performance; and coordinates activities of senior managers and their respective functions. Represents the health plan externally and to governmental/external agencies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration and/or related field

5 years of professional experience working within managed care or Health care industry

2 years of project lead experience

Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights

Clear oral and written communication skills

Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and can lead a team

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Fully Bilingual English/Spanish

. Must be able to speak, read and write in both languages without limitations or assistance. If selected for the position, you will be required to take a Language Proficiency Assessment in English/Spanish. See Additional Information on testing

Temporary Work At Home requirements

(Please note this permanent position allows you to work at home indefinitely until further notice). Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, Overtime, needed to work some weekends

This permanent job is working from Home temporary due to Covid 19 emergency. This position will deploy to the following location at a future date: 383 Ave F D Roosevelt Ave. San Juan, PR 00918-2131

Language Proficiency Testing (English/Spanish):
