Profile

Job Duties: Responsible for weekly broiler closing in the Growout System which includes, but not limited to balancing feed tickets to FOD, chick delivery tickets to Hatchery System, live receiving to the plants, any other duties essential to calculating weekly broiler grower pay, distribution of producer payments, maintaining producer contracts and bank assignments, and providing weekly and monthly reports to management as well as any standard or ad hoc reports as directed. Other responsibilities include compiling stat figures, reviewing and balancing monthly financial statements, live production inventories, processing journal entries and any other duties associated within or outside of accounting as assigned by management. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results and coordinating work load to meet all deadlines.

Requirements:

High school diploma, vocational school certificate, or equivalent

1-–2 years of office/clerical experience

Requires basic computer skills. Experience working with Microsoft Excel is required. Experience using a Tyson Business System such as: Microsoft Office, SAP, FOD, HIS, GIS, Mtech, and Workday would be a plus, but is not required.

Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator by touch.

Must have excellent communication skills to work with multiple departments and/or locations.

Must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and have good, problem-solving skills.

Over-night travel is minimal and limited local travel is required.
