To support our mission, we are seeking to appoint a Head of Internal Audit. This is a newly created role and a member of the Finance senior management team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The Internal Audit function will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting support to add value to our operations. As Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for the full internal audit cycle. You will also take responsibility for evaluating and improving the design and operating effectiveness of our risk management, and control process. This is an exciting opportunity to establish the Internal Audit function and shape this over time. You will create a visible and responsive function that brings together in-house activity with our supporting partner, to provide appropriate challenge to senior leaders and improve compliance across the institution. You will hold a professional accountancy qualification and will bring experience of leading and developing a team of internal audit professionals. We are seeking candidates that can demonstrate a track record of delivering successful audit programmes, with the ability to communicate, influence and challenge at all levels.
