Associate Accountant - Various Fresh Meat Plant Locations

Job Details:

Summary: This position is an entry level Accounting position. The training mainly will occur at one of our Tyson Fresh Meats plants. Responsibilities include learning Fresh Meats Accounting systems to include Scalehouse (Livestock Payments), Yields, Time & Attendance/Payroll, Profit & Loss reporting Perpetual Inventory preparation and Month End close activities. Other special projects will be assigned as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience: No prior experience needed.

Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.

Computer Skills: Strong Understanding of Microsoft Office Software.

Travel: Minimal.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no responsibility for supervising other personnel.
