**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a sharp-as-a-tack Payroll Manager to join our Finance team and drive payroll for our 2,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada. In this key position, you’ll take on and own complex financial processes, finding ways to evolve and enhance them on your quest toward utmost efficiency and accuracy. Communication and collaboration are vital to this role, as you’ll work closely with both the Finance and Talent teams. What you’ll do:
Process accurate, timely biweekly and semimonthly payrolls in the U.S. and Canada
Ensure our compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll and tax requirements
Work closely with the Talent team to validate changes to compensation, benefits elections, and other deductions
Support the monthly accounting close cycle and annual audits for items related to payroll, including journal entries, reconciliations between ADP and NetSuite, schedule preparation, and variance analyses
Work with Accounts Payable to facilitate allocations of benefits and payroll invoices
Manage payroll taxes by confirming ADP deductions, researching payroll tax rules for new jurisdictions, ensuring ADP appropriately files on our behalf, and owning the annual W-2 process
Assist the Finance and Talent teams on ad hoc requests and analyses related to payroll
Who you are:
A skilled problem-solver with 5 years of payroll related experience (plus, you’ve managed large-scale multistate payrolls)
Comfortable working independently and owning your work from start to finish
Highly organized and detail-oriented (improving and documenting processes makes your heart flutter)
A direct, honest communicator when working with your team and other stakeholders
Driven by the highest level of ethics and respectful of confidentiality
A dexterous multitasker who can prioritize several projects without losing focus
