As an Oracle Platinum Consulting Partner, Beacon Application Services provides both consulting services and software solutions for the Commercial, Education and Government industries. Beacon’s consulting services offers implementation and upgrade services of PeopleSoft Enterprise applications, including Financials, HCM, Supply Chain, Services Automation and Business Intelligence. We work closely with each customer to define a strategy and approach, with emphasis on defining deliverables and milestones, project phases, upfront estimates and timeframes.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Beacon is seeking a General Ledger Consultant to join our growing Financials Practice. This position will be responsible for leading the General Ledger application in our implementation and/or upgrades.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Communicate requirements
- Perform modifications and system troubleshooting
- Develop project plans
- Gather and document business requirements
- Perform fit/gap analysis
- Complete conceptual design
- Construct and test the system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have expertise in the PeopleSoft General Ledger application
- 5-10 years experience consulting with PeopleSoft products
- Experience leading General Ledger in a full-cycle implementation
- CPA a plus
TRAVEL:
No relocation necessary. Travel required.
