Tax Manager

Profile

Responsibilities:

Prepare quarterly tax provision
Manage preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns
Manage preparation of sales tax and property tax returns
Research and evaluate major changes to federal and state tax laws affecting our business
Facilitate tax audits as required
Communicate with company accounting managers on tax related issues
Other projects as assigned

  Requirements

BA or BS in accounting/finance
6-8 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department
Significant experience with complex tax provisions including valuation allowance, stock based compensation, and foreign taxes
Thorough understanding of consolidated corporate income tax reporting requirements
Experience with Multi State tax compliance
Strong research and analytical skills
Experience with the tax impact of corporate reorganizations and spin-offs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
