SUMMARY: The primary responsibility for this position is to achieve volume, OI, and ROS growth as targeted for Canada and Tyson Export Solutions by business leadership to ensure sustainable international growth for Tyson Foods. The person in this position will be accountable for the P&L and expected to analyze, report, and develop business strategies and action items to achieve financial goals. The Revenue Manager must understand market competition, volume growth opportunities and how they interact with our capabilities, industry trends, fair market value and production costs to make pricing and growth decisions across broad product categories. This is accomplished through strong cross-functional relationships and information sharing with the Commercial Team, Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, and other Tyson Business Units.
In addition to pricing, this position will impact financials by uncovering cost savings opportunities. This cost awareness is inclusive of global sourcing options. To be successful with these direct responsibilities, this team member will need to have strong knowledge of the sourcing strategy & options available, as well as the capacity, and stock positions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 5 plus years of food industry business management or sales experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Requires advanced computer skills. High degree of proficiency in Excel and proficient in both Word and Power Point.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
Travel: 3 to 5 domestic trips per year.
