The primary purpose of this role is to work with the Partners and various contacts in the UK finance team to contribute to the effectiveness of the Dubai and Muscat offices by providing a comprehensive and efficient accounting service so that the business objectives of the teams and the Firm are achieved. To deliver a high quality professional service to Kennedys, in accordance with the overall strategy of the Firm.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Liaise with the UK Finance team to ensure compliance with the firm's Global Finance Minimum Standards
Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts rules
Assist the Accounts Administrator with the annual audit queries for the Dubai and Muscat entities
Billing
Produce monthly WiP and Aged Disbursement lists for the partners
Produce client invoices for Dubai and Muscat partners and ensure invoices are sent promptly to the client, including market invoices
Produce and update bills delivered report for the partners
Assist with partner request relating to amendments to invoices including preparation of credit notes
Assist with client queries relating to invoices including producing statements of account
Credit Control
Assist Office Manager with production credit control report for Dubai and Muscat
Assist Partners and Office Manager with credit control communications to clients
General
Post all disbursement invoices, payments and receipts on Elite
Processing team general and BD expenses
Produce matter listing report monthly for the partners in Accounts Administrator's absence
General Duties
Maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm's internal clients and to assist in creating and developing the professional reputation of the department

Work in line with the Firm's Contribution Areas which are specific to your role and level
Maintain trust and confidentiality at all times
Act as a Trusted Advisor by building relationships across business services to ensure a consistent approach and service
Undertake any specific training as and when required by the HR Department, supervisor or Partners of the firm
Operate safely and considerately in the workplace
