The essential functions of this entry-level position are all check writing activities on accounts payable system; coding checks for correct general ledger account; verifying approval of expenses, writing checks and posting related journal entries. In addition, maintain petty cash and maintain 1099s for the firm’s trust accounts.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, critical thinking, accounting skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are a must. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. The person hired for this entry-level role will work full-time, onsite 5 days per week, with the potential for hybrid remote work in the future. The salary range for this position is $35,000.00-$45,000.00, depending upon experience.
