We are looking for a Sr Manager, Accounting to join our Finance team.
Responsibilities:
Primary member of corporate team responsible for driving the month-end processes ensuring completion within deadlines
Ensure expenses are reported properly in accordance with accounting policies and GAAP
Analyzing company expense and explaining variance to FP&A and management
Prepare certain expense related journals and reconciliations, and review those prepared by staff and senior accountants
Manage a team of 3 to 4 accountants
Identify accounting or workflow issues and make corrections or recommendations
Driving corporate accounting policies and procedures as well as Sarbanes Oxley compliance and documentation
Assist Senior Directors with internal and SEC reporting
Serve as one of the primary contacts during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Assistance with other tasks and special projects, as needed
Requirements:
CPA preferred
Ability to understand and interpret technical accounting
Minimum 5 years’ experience (public accounting experience a huge plus)
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Attention to detail
Planning and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Experience with Oracle a plus
