Are you a bright and driven graduate with language skills wanting to develop a career within finance? Then our graduate programme within our Finance Shared Services Team could be for you.
We are looking for a talented, driven individual to join us as a Graduate Assistant Accountant and complete a professional accountancy qualification.We are particularly looking for French or Italian speakers, however, we are also interested in Dutch, Spanish, German, Flemish and Swedish speakers.
Having a second language would be advantageous. No previous finance experience is required, however along with your language skills, you will have great people skills, be an analytical thinker and be able to tackle new and challenging problems.
This role would join our diverse EMEA Finance Shared Services team based in Bradford, UK, which is responsible for the financial accounting for several European countries.
The successful candidate will have an exciting and challenging opportunity to gain invaluable experience in finance, while being able to use and develop their existing language skills.
You would join on a 36-month placement working towards the position of Assistant Accountant within our Accountancy team. Through this placement, the successful applicant will rotate around different teams to gain an exposure to a broad range of finance areas including accounts payable, cash allocation, credit control and general ledger.
As well as on the job learning, the successful candidate will also receive full support for their development and complete a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) as part of a modern apprenticeship.
