Description
Your Home Advantage (YHA) is a Humana-owned Healthcare Management Company dedicated to improving clinical and quality outcomes by bridging the gap between the physician's office and the member's home. YHA provides prospective home visits conducted by licensed and trained clinical practitioners who perform In-Home Wellness Assessments (IHWA). The IHWA was established to identify and assess Humana Medicare Advantage members who are at risk of excessive utilization of future health related services and to supplement Humana's Health Assessment Program.
Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Professional works with YHA clinicians and business leaders to:
Maintain and reconciles accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports.
Prepare analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud.
Ensure that transaction entry verification procedures are followed.
Prepare and delivers low-volume customer billing and respond to resulting queries.
The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Professional is responsible for:
Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Manipulating data from Carebook, Salesforce and other platforms to generate payment files.
Resolve payment disputes and discrepancies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 years finance experience
Experience completing financial analysis and/or reporting
Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.) Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong organizational skills
Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST; potential for weekends during peak season as needed
Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you and your patients have absolute and continuous privacy while you work
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance from Humana systems is 10M x 1M
Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10-panel drug test
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant license
