**Job Description Summary**
The Life Cycle Cost Analyst Lead for Edison Works - Advanced Programs Product Development team will lead initiatives for developing and maintaining engine life cycle cost (LCC) estimations for new advanced engine programs.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
Conduct required analysis to provide accurate estimations for key engine life cycle cost data elements, including engineering manufacturing development, engine production, operational base stand-up, depot development and stand-up, and product engine sustainment
Provide oversight and guidance to supporting finance, engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment organizations to obtain required inputs to conduct LCC estimations.
Lead development of key program maintenance cost model inputs required to estimate future engine sustainment material and labor costs
Lead internal GE and external Customer teams in the creation of key ground rules and assumptions necessary to develop accurate engine program specific LCC estimations.
Support identification of requirements and creation of roadmaps for achieving timely submittal of LCC deliverables that are aligned with key program milestones.
Support development of cost, pricing, schedule and risk data for life cycle cost estimation and study initiatives.
Direct interface with Customer's life cycle cost personnel
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Aviation Maintenance or related field from an accredited University or College, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of military engine maintenance / management related experience.
Technical understanding of military jet engines, and its respective maintenance support equipment, tooling, maintenance methods, material logistics and inspection processes.
Understanding of U.S. military organizations, logistics and sustainment processes and environment.
Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
**Desired Characteristics**
Familiarity with GE military maintenance cost modeling (ICAM) program
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
Ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills utilizing a disciplined approach to resolve issues and define solutions.
