We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy team based in Co.Cavan
Assisting the Finance Team to ensure management accounts and reports are produced to a high standard of accuracy and to the appropriate deadlines.
What will you be doing?
Management Reporting
Production of weekly manufacturing variance reports
Calculation of monthly stock provision
Maintenance of regular overhead costs including month end accruals
Posting journals
Production of monthly transport report
Production of monthly price variance report
Completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Reconciliation of intercompany balances
Preparation of Vat & Intrastat returns
Procurement Reporting
Production of monthly procurement reports
Consolidate information from other sites and divisions
Ad hoc reporting
Skills that will help you in the role:
The successful candidate will have an interest in a Finance Role and may wish to pursue a career in Finance or may already be Part Qualified seeking a CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification.
Have good technical knowledge, be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst also maintaining attention to detail is crucial.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where required.
