Tax Assistant
Salary: To GBP23k depending on experience plus study package
Location: Hull
This is an exciting new Tax Assistant position in the Hull area my client is looking to fill to add to their growing business who are an established firm of chartered accountants. This person would work closely with the Tax team across all areas of Personal Tax. You ideally will have 12 months experience working in a Tax role and looking to develop your career by taking the ATT exams and even further if desired with the CTA exams. My client would also consider experienced accounts candidates from practice looking to transition their careers into a tax role or bright Accounts graduates looking for their first career opportunity.
Responsibilities:
*Preparing tax returns for a wide variety of clients, including income tax and capital gains tax calculations and multiple rental accounts
*Overseeing a portfolio of individual clients in respect of the management of their personal tax affairs
*Assisting with HMRC enquiries and compliance checks
*Preparing tax compliance documents for clients where required
