The Procurement Coordinator creates and update vendors in the Univeristy's finance system for the procure to pay processs. The Coordinator will assist with purchase order creations, modifications and closings as directed.. The Coordinator will interact with all levels of the campus community and vendors to perform their responsibilities. The Coordinator will provide general office support for the Procurement Director and Accounts Payable Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create and update vendors for the Procure to Pay process based on submitted W-9 or W-8 and support documentation. For banking or remittance information updaates performs a two-step positive confirmation notification process by phone and email. Verify vendors compliant with Federal and State requirements such as the Office of Inspector General Health & Human Services, Office of Foreign Asset Control Special Designated Nationals and New Jersey State Debarred vendors. Maintain shared database of vendors' W-9 or W-8 forms, insurance certificates and proof of compliance details.
2. Assist with the creation, update and closing of University Purchase Order Requests in the finance system and request necessary support documentation from campus as directed.
3. Research in Banner and then create journal entries to correct general accounting details for Procurement Director's approval as directed.

5. Complete and document the University's Tax Exempt Certificates as requested by campus as required. Perform general office duties to support the Procurement Director and Accounts Payable Manager, including but not limited to filing, scanning, distribution and routing of mail, answering department phone lines as required.
Required Qualifications:
Required Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
