ROLE TITLE: CORPORATE TAX MANAGER, GROUP TAX, DUBLIN

 

LOCATION: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 (with hybrid working)

 

This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.

 

This role reports directly to the Corporate Tax Director and is part of a wider Tax team of 18 people.  

 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

*

 Advise on Irish corporation tax aspects of group initiatives and business transactions; *

Provide pro-active corporation tax advice in support of the Group's business objectives; *

Manage the corporation tax compliance and provisioning processes for a portfolio of Irish subsidiaries; *

Research areas of complexity in tax legislation, case law and practice; *

Determine the impact of relevant legislative amendments on the business, systems and procedures and effectively communicating with the relevant business areas; *

Assist in the management of corporation tax risk across the AIB Group by reviewing the end to end tax processes and ensuring that the correct procedures & controls are in place to manage tax risk; and *

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business units/divisions.

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU:

Have a professional tax qualification and preferably also an accounting qualification; *

Have at least 5 years relevant Irish corporation tax experience in practice or industry; *

Have strong knowledge of Irish corporation tax issues of relevance to a banking group, together with a broad knowledge of other Irish taxes; *

Are a good communicator with the ability to use a variety of communication and influencing skills; *

Have a good IT skills and a high level of competence in Alphatax and Excel; and *

Have experience of managing and dealing with diverse workstreams to specific deadlines.
