MAIN POSITION OBJECTIVES
To be the local Business Partner focusing on providing optimal Business, Finance Services (GFS) and operation excellence to Hong Kong markets through Finance support in Financial reporting, planning and analysis, technical accounting, order to cash management, tax, Logistic, distributor management and associated controls. To be the key contact person with Regional / Global GFS and other Finance functions for standardization and innovation initiatives
RESPONSIBILITY/KEY DELIVERABLES
Lead and owned the full GFS processes in the market, including GA, OTC, Tax, Distribution and other Legal Entity related matters/activities.
Establish strong working relationships with local market Commercial team and other departments, as well as GFS colleagues and Supply Chain team supporting HK, and demonstrates accountability with a focus on superior results.
Ensure financial statements reported in compliance with GAAP/local regulation, BMS Internal Control Standards and Policies.
Responsible for the completion of Financial Reporting Audit, and work closely with Tax CoE for tax filing/Statutory Returns, and Transfer Price Reporting.
Responsible for preparing and monitoring cash flow forecast and LE profitability and communicate cash opportunities/risks to Finance Lead.
Lead the Legal Entity Financial Performance Review, included projection/Budget review
Be the Technical Accounting Network Representative for the market
Lead the implementation of GFS projects in the market aiming at a high performance result
Demonstrates a team orientated approach and support the development of high performance Finance team through selection, coaching and counseling.
Adhoc activities/tasks/projects as required by the Company/Manager
Required Knowledge, experiences and skillsets
Undergraduate in accounting, finance or related field.
Over seven years of Accounting/Tax/Auditing/Financial Analysis/Legal Entity planning experiences in multi-national Company (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
Solid understanding of accounting procedures and principles (US-GAAP & HK GAAP) and the local Tax Regulations.
Demonstrates ability to analyse and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources and through effective decision-making and planning, deliver superior business solutions.
Prior knowledge on working in SAP & Hyperion or in a similar ERP system, good computer skills (powerpoint, excel)
Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin will be a plus.
Capability of work in a team environment with different stakeholders and able to influence them in delivering value-added business results that meets high quality requirements
Capability to work independently and under tight timeline with quality results
Qualified CPA or equivalent is a plus.
