Aon is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst!As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions to our customers!This role assists the Director and Manager of Insurance & Risk Management with the implementation and ongoing management of the client’s property and casualty risk programs with a focus on contractual risk management. Role ResponsibilitiesContract Management Draft and review of contracts to attain achievable risk levels.Review supplier terms and conditions recommending innovative ways to implement contract requirements.Review of third party insurance certificates and verification of compliance with agreed-upon contractual terms.Maintain contracts database, including development of standard contract language, applying a tiered system based on relationship with counter party.Claims ManagementLoss mitigation and communication with internal partners.Supervising of open claims to ensure timely closure, status awareness for ongoing open claims, specifically litigated claims, and reconciliation of self-insured retention.Program Processes and ProceduresAnalyze cost benefit of various programs and procedures within risk management.Assist with insurance and risk management due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions.Provide ongoing risk management support and assistance as neededCommunicationManage the development and maintenance of communication tools for senior management and operating personnel describing risk management policies and programs.Update the annual Risk Management Policy Digest and Insurance Coverage Summary and pertinent documentation as required.Provide expertise in policy and coverage interpretation to operating company personnel in concise and consumable manner To Be Qualified for This Role:College degree with a major in business (finance, economics, accounting, risk management preferred)Minimum of 5 years within a risk management environment, insurance company or brokerage experience handling national or global accountsCustomer service and team oriented is crucial experience that is requiredStrong social skills; able to collaborate with all levels of personnel at operating units and corporate staffAdministrative and organizational skills; must be detail oriented and comfortable working with numbersComputer skills, experienced in Windows environment, Word, Excel, Access, and use of on-line claims data systemsTime management skills, flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, often with short turn-around time.
