Junior Bookkeeper/ Accountant - remote working opportunity
We are a small to mid sized digital payments company based in India. We wish to expand our team with a European based junior bookkeeper who can work remotely, helping us grow the business and set processes and best practices. Initially part time but we are looking to offer a full time position to the right candidate.
The successful candidate has to have good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and must have excellent skills in excel, preferably also in SmartSheet. Daily communication on zoom will be expected with the managers and business owner who are based in Asia and Europe. As part of the team you will have duties dedicated to bookkeeping and accounting but also supporting other ad hoc related business functions from time to time.

• Checking company bank accounts and statements
• Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
• Processing sales invoice, receipts, and payments
• Track income and expenditures
• Entering financial transactions into SmartSheets and back offices
• Reconciliation of Bank accounts and ledger
Qualification:
• At least 1-3 years work experience in a similar role ideally as a bookkeeper or an accountant
• Diploma or a certification in a financial field
• Knowledge of financial processes
• Very good Microsoft office and internet skills, SmartSheets program knowledge is a bonus
• Motivated person who can work independently and responsibly
• Friendly with a positive and mature work attitude who is eager to learn
