Aon is looking for a Accounting Operations AnalystJob Description Summary: We are looking for a Accounting Operations Analyst in our Fort Washington, PA office! As part of an industry-leading team, you will assist with carrier payment analysis for proper payment and reconciliations, supporting carrier audits, as well as analyze and implement additional changes and efficiencies within the accounting operations team reporting to the Sr. Accounting Ops Manager.Job Responsibilities: Perform daily, weekly and monthly cash reconciliations and reporting for Affinity Insurance ProgramsResponsible for payment processing, analysis, and ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is availableSupport Business Units by investigating and resolving ad-hoc payment related inquiriesPrimary contact for brokers, business partners, and external vendors to address policy discrepanciesDevelop thorough understanding of Accounting Operations functions and make recommendations for process improvementsPartner with Business Units, Financial Control, FP&A, and other regional Accounting Operation teams to resolve issues and create transparencySupport month-end close process by ensuring information, produced by the various policy admin systems, is accurate along with providing commentary for any variancesInvolved in projects, audits, and technology enhancement testingUtilize analytical tools to identify trends including opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvementAd hoc analysis utilizing in-house financial systems and databasesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHighly proficient in ExcelSelf-motivated and driven individualAbility to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environmentExcellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesComfortable communicating and interacting with all levels of managementMust have excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracyStrong Customer Service focusAbility to work independently and as a team memberRequired Experience: 1 - 3 years related experienceInsurance or cash management experience a plusEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Mathematics How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
