POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager supports the Controller in accounting, estimating, budgeting and reporting the Marketing Division’s financial process for Calvin Klein, Inc.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Budgeting – Assist in the management and preparation of the Calvin Klein Marketing bi-annual budget process which includes:
Attending budget meetings and working with operational partners to complete the upcoming year’s budget and 2-5 year plans.
Challenge assumptions to ensure sound logic and completion, including amounts and timelines; identifying and summarizing fixed/contractual v. variable expenses
Preparing budget packages, templates and variance explanations, ensuring all information is accurate.
Consolidation of budgets and supporting schedules
Ensuring the balance sheet has been correctly stated.
Additional analysis, as required.
Accounting – On a monthly basis and quarterly basis. Assist in managing and preparing of the Marketing division’s financials which includes:
Preparing monthly financials and attend monthly review meetings with department managers
Working with operational partners to understand their businesses, related processes and identify accounting and finance related questions/issues
Providing financial and accounting guidance and support to operational partners as needed
Internal financial reporting and account analysis
Working with CK Marketing Controller in resolving day-to-day process and accounting issues.
Ensuring the balance sheet has been correctly stated and performing account reconciliations.
Additional analysis, as required.
Additional –
Payroll analysis, forecasting and reconciliations
Reviewing new contracts and apply accounting principles to determine and communicate the accounting treatment.
Reviewing expense reports and enforce PVH Travel Policy
Preparing schedules for Internal Auditors, Tax, **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.orate, CK Licensing Department and others as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 5 – 7 years, CPA background preferred
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
Skills:
Experience with SAP and Essbase
Strong analytical skills & detail oriented
Ability to see the “big picture” while working with details
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
PC skills – Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
Flexibility to work as workload requires (heavy workload required during key financial processes such as year-end, preparation of budgets and monthly close)
