The College of Medicine, in conjunction with University of Cincinnati Physicians (UCP) is recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE) Data Analyst. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. 

 

Essential Function

Conduct research and collect/manage/analyze data, which will help in generation of standard and ad-hoc reports to allow organizational leadership to make informed financial and operational decisions.

 

Characteristic Duties

*Evaluation and problem investigation. *Work closely with colleagues to identify data related problems and solve them. *Ensuring high quality data is collected and integrity of the data. *Processing of data and developing reports on various projects. Reconcile data between various reports and system sources. *Analysis of information using various statistical methods and determining patterns in data. *Conceptualization of data and sharing this knowledge through effective presentation of the data output with the rest of the team and key stakeholders. *Developing and preparing spreadsheets/databases to be used by the organization. *Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor degree and one (1) year of experience.  Ability to run and operate database system.  Proficient in Microsoft Office.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related field and one year of experience.  Proficient in Microsoft Office, with extensive knowledge of Excel and Access.
