We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a fast growth pharmaceutical business.
The brand is already well established globally – now looking to launch in the UK and set up new offices in Central London so an incredibly exciting time to join
This is a broad Senior Finance & Operations Manager role reporting directly into the General Manager
Your remit will include provision of oversight and management of all finance elements but also to support with operations, supply chain and management of non–finance stakeholders right across the business
Initially you will be the only finance person for the UK business and you will be presented with an incredible opportunity to carve out and manage a brand new team to support the growth of the UK business.
Additional key responsibilities are as follows
Prepare and present all financial reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
Acting as a key advisor in all company financial and supply matters to support ongoing business expansion to include: Strategic planning, cost control, project review as well as identifying business and financial risks on an adhoc basis
Manage the company??s Working Capital, including payables and receivables.
Overseeing audits and tax related topics together with third party financial services providers.
Managing internal controls (developing and implementing policies to keep the correct internal control environment).
Ensuring a healthy cash flow through influencing the related departments and external network (Suppliers, Banks).
Forecast future demand at line level by close collaboration with business.
Managing of the inventory to ensure accuracy and healthy stock level.
Managing goods supply and overseeing stock movements through contact with suppliers and third party logistics provider.
Support senior management and the leadership teams in association with improvement of ongoing strategic and commercial project work and increased profitability
We are seeking qualified finance professionals (or overseas equivalent) who possess relevant financial reporting, broader finance/ operational and ideally commercial experience.
Pharmaceutical sector experience would be ideal but not essential at all.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel as well as ERP systems (ideal but not essential).
