Credit Risk Advisor Mobility
What’s the purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of Credit Management through driving the robust balance of risk & reward. Continue to drive the concentration, and standardization, of activities to ensure efficient and affordable support to deliver business objectives and outcomes. Co-Develop, implement, and execute Credit Strategy for Legacy Fuels and New Mobility Businesses
What’s the role
As Credit Risk Advisor Mobility, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Drive all primary Credit activities related to Credit Management including Credit Vetting, Debt Collection & Recovery and Cash Application & Allocation
Responsible for balancing business objectives against credit risk in accordance with policy and with direction from Credit Committees
Drive operational excellence in credit management by further integrating and optimizing the costs of CBC (Central Business Center) and COC (Central Operations Center) central team activities
Seek further migration of non- commercial related Credit Risk Assessment activities to the COC while utilizing Continuous Improvement mindset and partnering with internal stakeholders to execute and transition
The Advisor will have primary responsibility for partnering with and providing advice to internal commercial and finance stakeholders, as well as external counterparties where applicable
Provide advice to external counterparties or customers where relevant. Customer intimacy (through onsite visits, etc) and deep business and commercial knowledge, particularly with high risk/strategic customers.
Active engagement with Offshore Credit Operations Team
Regular communications to Senior Management
Requirements
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Candidate must have minimum 5 (five) years working experience from Oil and Gas, Bank or in recent Credit Risk Management with proven track record of maximizing commercial opportunities while balancing credit risk, strong self-motivator and influencing and leadership capability
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting, or in any equivalent field is required
Skill to assess industry risk, external market, and support sales/business with appropriate response (currency crisis, debt crisis, pandemic, etc.)
Ability to provide a more innovative and practical financing solution to help Shell manage credit risk, working capital, and support business to grow profitability with excellent knowledge of the market, competitors, and local banking infrastructure
Possess strategic thought processes to be able to design and implement long-term Credit objectives/initiatives, including digitalization & growth strategies, which involve internal and external stakeholders
