Position Objective
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller!
Essential Job Functions
* Supervise corporate and subsidiary account staff.
* Review/prepare balance sheet account analysis and journal entries.
* Report internal and external financial results.
* Research and analyze IFRS/Accounting pronouncements.
* Determine SOX requirements and enforce compliance.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.
* Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
* Support Controller with day-to-day activities and special projects.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
* Proficient in Excel and Work
* Knowledge of SOX, Access and SAP a plus.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
* Bachelor/Master's Degree in Accounting.
* 8 years related work experience including at least 5 years in a public (Big 4) accounting firm preferred.
* CPA strongly preferred.
